It aint too many dude I really listen that are underground. I know it sound crazy being that Im technically underground myself but most of these cats are wack!! Thats just my opinion and everybody got their own. But, there are some dudes out there actually making good music that dont get recognized..like Scadova. I heard about him thru his comrade Neffy. They are both Boston area based rappers making some buzz. I did a Chris Brown Dueces remix with Neffy and Memphis 10 based rapper Reez. Whats up folks, well I was reading an issue of SPIN magazine and came across this two person band called "mat & kim". Matt and Kim are their real name so I really dont know why I used quotation marks...but anyway I like they're music. I checked out ther song CAMERAS and it had some downsouth UGK horns in it, dope! I listened to a few more but the one that I remembered hearing before in a commercial or something is "DAYLIGHT". cHECK IT OUT AND LSTIEN TO SOME MORE OF THERE STUFF, I LIKE THERE STYLE.

As some of you guys know Im really into production. I produced or co- produced 6 tracks on my first mixtaape. Im constantly looking for samples and drumkits to better my sound. I ran across the Native Instruments new joint MASCHINE. Its user friendly and has some crazy stock sounds. I LOVE DC!!!!

First of all, I had a goood time in DC considering the bullshit that came with us flying out there. I was accompanied by Monte "Lil Coleman" and we both arrived Friday 19th. We hit Adam Morgans and other spots they were poppin in the city. The city is so eclectic and diverse that I found it a little hard to recognize many folks nationalities. The diversity reflects the music as well, can you say GO GO MUSIC!! I heard this one particular song that really stood out, shout to my frat Ryan for holding me down too. I met alot of different people and made some connects, it was a blessed experience.

I was listening to Mac Miller's KIDS mixtape and was wondering where the hell the producer got that sample for The Spins!!! The song is prolly the best track on the mixtape solely from the beat. I love the 80's sound and it inspired me too work harder on my next mixtape "1986". Check out the original song from Empire of the Sun, they look weird as fuck!!! No disrecpet cause they made a dope ass song. Check it and then go check out Mac Miller's track.

I been listening to a lot of different music for a long time but most folks dont really look for anything new. Most folks listen to the same music all the time. Alot of producers sample your favorite music. Hip hop and electronica music makes some dope ass music. Imogen Heap's Hide and seek song is so tight. Jason Derulo made a dope ass track from a sample of the original song. Check it out and keep your ear open.

Never turn around

One of the best things about doing music is the networking. I put my mixtape out on Datpiff.com and got so many emails from producers and other artists. Although most of them were gimmicks and haters I made a few good connections. Probably the best connect was with a pproducer from Ireland named Corporate Thief. He GO SO HARD!!! Why you niggas didnt vote!!!!

Its crazy that we came out in herds to vote for the presidency but when it comes to voting for the folks that make our laws and raise our taxes, we stay home and watch The Game on Bet?!?!?!!? I guess black folks didnt realize that the President cant change the world by himself. He needs help in Congress and the House of Reps. So, heres a lil something to make you think about what the world is gonna become if we dont start utilizing our rights to vote. This shit is funny in the wrong way.

Where did the months go???

One in particular is working with Irish producer Corporate Thief, who happens to be a college radio host as well!!!!! He liked my music and play it on the radio.
