Whats up folks, well I was reading an issue of SPIN magazine and came across this two person band called "mat & kim". Matt and Kim are their real name so I really dont know why I used quotation marks...but anyway I like they're music. I checked out ther song CAMERAS and it had some downsouth UGK horns in it, dope! As some of you guys know Im really into production. I produced or co- produced 6 tracks on my first mixtaape. Im constantly looking for samples and drumkits to better my sound. I ran across the Native Instruments new joint MASCHINE. Its user friendly and has some crazy stock sounds. I LOVE DC!!!!

First of all, I had a goood time in DC considering the bullshit that came with us flying out there. I was accompanied by Monte "Lil Coleman" and we both arrived Friday 19th. We hit Adam Morgans and other spots they were poppin in the city. The city is so eclectic and diverse that I found it a little hard to recognize many folks nationalities. The diversity reflects the music as well, can you say GO GO MUSIC!! I heard this one particular song that really stood out, shout to my frat Ryan for holding me down too. I met alot of different people and made some connects, it was a blessed experience.

I was listening to Mac Miller's KIDS mixtape and was wondering where the hell the producer got that sample for The Spins!!! The song is prolly the best track on the mixtape solely from the beat. I love the 80's sound and it inspired me too work harder on my next mixtape "1986". Check out the original song from Empire of the Sun, they look weird as fuck!!! No disrecpet cause they made a dope ass song. Check it and then go check out Mac Miller's track.

I been listening to a lot of different music for a long time but most folks dont really look for anything new. Most folks listen to the same music all the time. Alot of producers sample your favorite music. Hip hop and electronica music makes some dope ass music. Imogen Heap's Hide and seek song is so tight. Jason Derulo made a dope ass track from a sample of the original song. Check it out and keep your ear open.

One of the best things about doing music is the networking. I put my mixtape out on Datpiff.com and got so many emails from producers and other artists. Although most of them were gimmicks and haters I made a few good connections. Probably the best connect was with a pproducer from Ireland named Corporate Thief. He GO SO HARD!!! Its crazy that we came out in herds to vote for the presidency but when it comes to voting for the folks that make our laws and raise our taxes, we stay home and watch The Game on Bet?!?!?!!? I guess black folks didnt realize that the President cant change the world by himself. He needs help in Congress and the House of Reps. So, heres a lil something to make you think about what the world is gonna become if we dont start utilizing our rights to vote. This shit is funny in the wrong way.

I took my car back to the dealership today. No whip. I hope I can stack up enough cash within the next month to just buy a car cash. Page Updating!!!!

I hate it when things start looking up and then theres technical difficulties. Just when the blog is getting some notice from alot of people, the site starts having problems. The videos arent showing because the site is updating is media player. If you came to check out the blog and couldnt watch the video, I apologize for the player not working. I cant explain how bad it feel to not have graduated from college in 4 yrs. It feels like im a raisin in a barrel of grapes. Im only 23 yrs old but it feels like Im a dinosaur. Every semester its different faces and more setbacks. Im blessed to have never flunked out or been put on academic probation but I still feel like I havent accomplished anything. I got dreams of bigger places and better things but when I have to register for classes each semester, they seem so far away. But, anyway my music helps me express my frustration with situations. It doesnt take long for me to write songs but it does take a while for me to decide if I like what Ive recorded. Whatever I create I want to feel like its something that others can relate to. Ya dig!? So here's a new track that I think some folks can relate with. Check it out...

I been in skool for a while now and I found myself just sitting here waiting for things to jumpoff. That was the worst thing I could have done. I realized that I needed to stop wasting time and make sum moves. So, I got in touch with a friend of mine that owns a club here in Cleveland. Ive always been about making money so when he asked me to promote his club I knew that was a chance to get exposure and CAKE. If I want people to hear my music I gotta get some love in the clubs. Its been goin pretty good so far, i just need to kick it into overdrive now. I recently got involved with KREAM. I have alot of unfinished tracks in my folder on the PC. I know folks have been wondering where the tracks been so I chose this track. Production: C.Money, Shiloh rapping and myself. Its just one of those tracks that shows alot of potential but it sounds prety damn good to me. Its not a finished product but its still better than alot of the stuff I hear on the radio.This one is gonna be in the clubs pretty soon. The featured artist, Shiloh, is also a DSU student. I been working with him and I think he's got some of the best wordplay I've ever heard from an 18yr old. Shout out to C. Money on the beat too. My First Photo Shoot

This one of my favorite pictures from the shoot. Im not a model but I thought it kinda looked like something you would see in a magazine. Im gonna be doing a six month songwriting deal with a small indie label so i needed some head shots and promo photos. Luckily, one of my friends is a photographer, no charge!!!
